Electric Spinach’s relationship with Get Living began at East Village, where ageing chargers were distributed across multiple residential plots. The first requirement was to understand the inherited infrastructure, decide what could be retained and establish a scalable approach to resident charging.

The relationship expanded across the wider Build-to-Rent portfolio. Electric Spinach has assessed existing third-party installations, replaced unsuitable legacy equipment, retained viable assets, commissioned chargers onto Fuuse, improved communications, introduced asset identification and provided inspection, maintenance, billing and reporting support.

At East Village, Get Living faced both an ageing charger estate and increasing resident demand. Electric Spinach looked beyond immediate hardware replacement to resident access, electrical infrastructure, connectivity, software, reporting, future expansion and post-installation responsibility.

Took on management and annual compliance; commissioned to Fuuse and resolved access and firmware issues with the relevant parties.

Sherlock Quarter, Birmingham

Eight existing 7 kW Project EV APEX-7S chargers.

Introduced asset identification, verified Fuuse connectivity, completed inspection/testing and established ongoing support.

The Landings, Maidenhead

Existing Rolec Securicharge estate.

Retained the hardware, improved communications through hardwired connections and added ongoing inspection and operational management.

Resolve Resident-Facing Operational Issues

Treat connectivity as infrastructure

At The Landings, the chargers were retained but their communications needed improvement. Electric Spinach coordinated hardwired data connections rather than accepting weak wireless performance. Reliable communications support authorisation, billing, diagnostics, software updates, reporting and charger-status visibility.

Make small compliance details visible

At No. 6 Portlands Place, Electric Spinach returned to remedy the clarity of EV distribution-board and circuit identification. This modest intervention illustrates a wider lifecycle point: post-installation records and labels matter to the teams responsible for safe operation.

Across managed properties, Fuuse provides a common operational layer where technically appropriate, even when the underlying hardware differs. The wider framework combines annual inspection, remote diagnostics, fault escalation, preventative servicing, billing support, reporting, asset records and advice on expansion or replacement.
